Will this still work?

So I am building the entertainment center this weekend. I got new the carcass in today. It measures 45"w x 45" high. It was originally supposed to be 27" deep but after looking at it I decided to cut that back to 20". I thought it looked better.

I screwed up. The doors are wider than the cabinet is deep but will the slides still work even if the doors aren't fully concealed?

My answer would be, probably. Pocket doors usually attach with a typical euro style hinge. You'd just have the doors poking out of your cabinet, and it would cut off view from certain angles.
