    Car Dash

I am going to be in the process of restoring my 71 Cutlass Convertible.

I want to get rid of the fake woodgrain and use some nice veneer and high gloss urethane on the dash.

What adhesive should I use to bond the veneer to plastic and metal. The instrument panel cover is made of plastic. There is also a strip of fake grain the runs the length of the dash. Is there a good adhesive to bond veneer to metal? I think the strip is made of aluminum.

    Thanks you for your replies.

Low odor contact cement will probably work pretty well. I have an 87 Silverado that I am cleaning up and I will either use some small fancy self tapping screws or this cement.
