    UV safe stain and finish

I am going to stain a new pine pella window I put in. I was planning on using one of my fail safe methods for finishing pine -dye and/ or gel stain- but noticed both are manufacturers (Bartleys and Transfast) say they are not to be used in areas of high UV exposure.

I dont have a lot of staining experience. Does anyone know of a UV safe stain or if there is some type of UV resistant finish I can put over the dye or gel?

    Thanks!

You might try a marine supply or boat place. Most all there finishes should be U/V protected.
