Ditto the HD and the Lowe's. They carry different makes and styles, so be sure to check both for the best possible selection. You can save some cash by looking for pieces with broken corners and the like. The stores will often discount such pieces as much as 50%, and you will usually have extra material left over, anyway. One suggestion: Invest the $25 or so for a laminate cutter (looks like tin snips with double cutters). They're very neat and clean, and many other cutting methods (like score-n-snap) will sometimes result in a broken $50 piece of laminate. You can buy pre-made edge strips that match many of the available laminate finishes, but you can also cut your own strips on your table saw (run the material through with the finished side UP)....eight, nine, TEN!
