In doing research on replacing our kitchen cabinets, we had a few contractors over to get estimates. One said that if we wanted the cabinets painted on-site (white color) the most durable finish would be to add a "catalyst" to the top coat. Does anyone have an idea of what he was meaning? He happened to say this to my wife when I had left to get a phone call, so I didn't get a chance to question him further. My best guess is a two part epoxy paint, which I know are very durable, but a bear to apply (Great on motorcycle frames) and not used on cabinets in my experience. Is there some other kind of "catalyst" hardener that is available?
