So, after about 13 years my BT3100 finally gave up the ghost. I tossed the box/saw itself out of frustration. Guess I should have offered the motor etc. The problem was in raising and lowering the blade. I completely replaced the shims, lubed with silicone, etc. It was just impossible to raise the blade. On top of that I really didn't have room for the BT3100 in my new tiny shop, so I bought a RTS31. I'm sure I'll miss the BT, but that's how it is.
I live in Escondido, CA and have the "stand" with wheels (so you can tilt the saw and wheel it around), the sliding miter, the rip fence, blade guard, the T-guide add in table piece, the router side table add on, and the front and back rails.
I'd like to sell all the pieces at once. Not sure what a fair price it, but would like to get $125 for all of it.
.... guess I better go read how to upload pics. Will do so asap.
