    Wanted: virgin bt3100 throat plates

I'm looking for one or two of the red Stytooner (Sanatec), by virgin, I mean uncut.

    Hi Bruce,

I've got two boxes of 2 each unused. They are the Craftsman brand but are the same. Let me know if you are interested and we'll work something out.

      Matrt,

Thanks for the response, but I've got 4 of those (un-used in boxes), want to trade??

What I'm looking for are the type that Lee used to make along with the Shark Guard, and then were taken over by Gugie and then Jeff, or maybe the other way around.

Well the new owner of the T-nut site seems to have dropped them from the line.

If anyone is aware of were I can get a few, I'd be really greatful. And yes, I've already contacted Lee, no joy.

        Bruce, I have one.

One minor hitch--the slot that is machined into the underside is in the wrong spot. They probably reversed the blank when they milled that.

          Rob,

Thanks for the response, but I'm not sure if I want to get into a workaround for a throatt plate that was made wrong.

I got enough problems with my router.

Did you get this from me, or Gugie or Jeff? If it's from me, I may just have to make a small batch.

              Lee,

If you're going to make up some, I'll take 2, and boy can I use them.

From Jeff. He offered a replacement, but I bought it as a setup block to make my own anyhow, so I told him no big deal.

Did you just call me a Boy?

I guess I can make up a batch. It will take some time though. I will make these on my CNC router, so they will be a little easier to whip out. It should make short work of them.

Thanks Rob. I figured either they didn't know about it or had offered a replacement. Both great Guys.

                      Hey Lee,

First of all, mucho thanks in advance, it sems that the TP's are as rare as an honest politician.

Second of all, I can easily think of a lot of other things to call you, remember, you're the one with the rubber skirt. So there.

Are we talking about these red sanated zctp's originally designed by the Leeway Workshop?

                        http://t-nuts.com/product_info.php?c...roducts_id=224

It looks to me like they're still for sale.
