    22124 Saw in DFW Texas

I guess I'm letting this beauty go. It is in absolute mint condition. Let me know if your interested, make me a reasonable offer. It is 100% complete with everything that came in the carton plus the bill of sale. It is about 16months old, but the original blade is still sharp.

This is a no-brainer: The wife can leave you, the table saw never will.

There is an ancient Chinese proverb that says something like, "better to beg for forgiveness than to ask permission."

The unfortunate corollary to that saying is "Dead men can't beg!"

If you lose the house, you won't have a place to put the saw !

But this is a person talking who bought the cockpit from a 747 before I had a place to put it and ended up selling it 18 months later. Table saws are a lot more portable by comparison ! lol

            Wow,

I thought this saw might sell, but here it sits. Is $600 a reasonable price for a mint saw?

I paid $529 for the 22114, less of a saw than you have and a lesser fence, not a Bies. I don't think $600 is too much. If I did not have the 22114 and saw a pristine 22124 for $600, I would jump on it. Maybe you need to be a little patient until someone who knows what they are looking at see your ad.

When I sold my BT3100 I got a lot of offers for $100. I would have dropped it off a cliff instead. Hung on and got the $175 I wanted. Happy seller, happy buyer. Just wait awhile, the right person will come along.

FWIW I don't think $600 is a bad price for that very capable saw. Unfortunately, the Craftsman brand has been taking a beating in the last few years and people perceive the brand as being cheap. So $600 for a used C-man TS sounds like a lot to most people expecially when the can sometimes find a used Uni for around that price.

It went to a good guy.
