    Selling BT3100 in SoCal

Listed my excellent BT3100 on Craigslist (San Diego) in SoCal. Sorry to see her go but no room for two table saws.

You have a router fence in your saw. What is the differentce between a router fence and a table saw fence? Can the table saw fence be used as router fence?

A table saw fence cannot be used as a router fence. The router fence has an opening for the router bit to fit in. Most router fences are split so they can be moved to accomadate small and large diameter bits. You could certainly make one that would be attached to the table saw fence like the Ryobi router fence does. Not that hard to do.

you could, however, use the TS fence for dadoes on the router...just no dust collection at the point of the router
