Well it just sold for $430.00. Anyone bid on or win it? Not bad for a 700+ saw. If I didn't just get a saw I would def have bid on it.

Btw, is this the table saw they call the "zip code" saw? Where did that name come from?

The term was coined over at Woodnet by a couple of guys messing around because the model numbers look like zipcodes...it stuck. The model 22124 is the actual zipcode for Oakton, VA. The 22114 is one of the 3 models that became known as the zipcode saws...the 22104 was for 3rd.

Now that Steel City Tool Works is offering a model that's very similar to the 22124, I wonder if they'll be consider zipcode saws too. The 35601 is the model that's nearly identical to the 22124...35601 is the zip for Decatur, AL.
