    Crescent Mfg was sold to Rockwell in 1940. After they aquired Delta a few years later, some of the jointers were labled Delta/Crescent.



    Unless the jointer is a total rust loss, that is a good price. I have about $250 and maybe 25 hours in my Rockwell/Delta and it is in like new condition.

      There were pix that I tired to post but did not go thru. Joiner had no visible rust on bed and all paint intact. Seller lists as "Cresent Machine Co." so may be pre Delta/Rockwell. Sawdust seemed to indicate recent use. The fence on the shaper alone goes for over $350 new if it is the recent 4hp model that the pix indicate.
      There was quiet a stir on these on that other ww forum last night after I posted here.
