I am interested in edge guide. My router is Hitachi KM12SC, it is supposed to be compatible with PC 690 series. Just to make sure - would you be able to measure spacing of rods and rod diameter? I don't remember spacing on the router - will check in the evening. I believe rods should be 5/16" diameter.

The Bosch amazon case you linked to is different from the one that comes with the 1617 series. The one you linked to WILL hold the D handle routers, if the one you link is the one you have, I want it.

As for the Porter Cable case, that is a SANDER case, not a saw case.

Email me if it's the linked Bosch case, thanks!
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

                Jeffrey,
The rod spacing should be 2-1/4" o.c and 5/16" metal rod from HD fits into router base holes very tight, so the guide rods should probably be a fraction smaller. I found a user comment at amazon where he says this guide has parameters fitting my router (2-1/4" and he says about 1/4" rods). I believe in the world of routers description "fits many popular routers" should cover PC690 and my Hitachi claims to accept PC accesories. In short - I believe it will fit and I am sending you an e-mail.
                Thanks,
                Alex V

It appears to be 2.25" OC. Rods are 9/32 which is slightly smaller than the 5/16".
