That is a great deal. You did a real nice job with the riser kit.

Thanks Jeffrey. I almost hate to let it go, but I got a deal on a Delta 14" display ($100 at Lowes) and I am out of shop space!

I'm up in Knoxville. If I wouldn't spend so much in gas, I'd come get it ! Good price for it.

I am interested because of the resaw riser but does it have enough motor to cut that deep? Whats been your biggest piece you've resawn with out it bogging down?

I think history would have been very much different if Leonardi DiVinci had a belt sander.

            ExYankee,

The largest I have done was a 28" long cherry log that was over 11" in diameter. I had to flatten the top and bottom to get it to fit under the guides. Went slow and I quartered it with no problems. Granted, the motor is undersized for doing this kind of work constantly, but I had no problems. Used a sharp 1/2" Timberwolf blade for the resawing.

The table is a 13x13", but I was just about to get the Rockler bandsaw table and fence when it goes back on sale for $99. It cuts the resaw capacity down about 1", but that still gives you over 9 1/2" and a 24" table!

Let me know if you need any more info.......
