    Free Ryobi 961K Drill

If someone has some working Ryobi 9.6v batteries I have an older, circa 2000, Ryobi HP961K 9.6v drill w/ plastic case, two batteries and charger for free (just pay shipping cost). The batteries don't hold much of a charge anymore and seemed to be around $30, so I'm not replacing them. But if you have some 9.6v Ryobi batteries lying around from other tools...

Let me know else goes to Goodwill.

P.S., Off-topic but also have a working Motorola Startac 7868W dual band (digital and analog) programmed for Verizon with travel and wall chargers and belt clip for free (shipping) if anyone wants it for some reason.

I had a couple of those older Ryobis and found the batteries really didnt last long. it was cheaper to buy a new drill than replace the dead batteries.

Yep, $30 (ouch) for a new 9.6v battery so I did the rational (if environmentally unsound) thing and used as an excuse to buy a new 18v drill/driver. But if someone has good batteries...
