    Wanted: Extra Long Rails

First of all, what a great site!

Second, I'm looking for the extra long rails for the bt3k. If no one here has them for sale, does anyone know where I can get them and for how much? I've tried looking on the craftsman site with no luck. I can't really find anything on the craftsman site. Thanks. . . David

There are BT3K Rails on the Sears Site!

Sears has Rails for the BT3000, NOT for the BT3100, which is, I suspect, what you're looking for.

BTW, it's called a Wide Table Kit (WTK) and contains a set of Rails (41" long) and the hardware and directions that will allow you to attach them to the exsisting set of Rails, effectively Doubling their length.

The differences between the two sets are as follows:
    BT3000 Rails are Silver colored.
Profile is slightly different, but the "T" Slots line up, in other words, they are functionally interchangeable, but not cosmetically interchangeable (different color).

On the Sears site, they used to sell the BT3000 under the model number 22811. They still carry some parts, the Silver Rails among them.

If you do a search on "22811", either on this site or on the Sears site, you should be able to locate a list of the parts that Sears carries for the BT3000, most of which will fit the BT3100.
