funnier still is that we somehow got on the subject of deodorant this morning at work,
i did some surfing for info on them "crystal deodorant stones" (mineral salt) and found all kindsa bad news regarding regular sticks etc,,they use aluminum and other stuff to dry/block the pores which gets into your system and is linked to alzheimers and other diseases.

so keep your degree, i'm switchin to rock salt!!!

My mom keeps telling me that -- she buys into all that crack science stuff out there so I just dismissed it.

Is there anything to this, or is it just another bunch of internet wacko's raising a new stink (quite literally)??

We are combining two urban legends with totally junk science here. In regards to aluminum causing alzheimer's, I refer you to this:

and with regard, similarly to the aluminum in antiperspirant (somewhat related):

I despise those internet rumor things. Needles full of high grade heroin the ball pit at McDonalds. What self respecting junkie is going to throw away a needle full of heroin and what was he doing playing in the ball pit before shooting up?

If anyone seriously wants to get rid of trial size deoderants and support a good cause, I can use them. PM me for details...
