    FS: 6" Jointer

    For sale:

    6" Jointer
    $170/obo

It is a copy of the older style Delta 6" jointer. 3/4 hp motor

It is great working order and does a great job of making boards flat. It is the typical taiwan color of green and does have some chipped paint.

Tables are flat, fence is flat and infeed/outfeed table are co-planer without shimming.

The nice thing about this style of jointer is that is tucks very nicely against the side of your tablesaw and save a considerable amount of floor space in this configuration. See the pictures for how I have it tucked right next to my tablesaw left wing and for storage it slips right underneath the wing

It is a good jointer to someone looking for one, definately not a looker, but works very well and you can't beat the price! If looks really matter you could easily give it a new coat of paint.

2 sets of knives (one set are super high quality Amana knives).

Available for pickup in Charlotte, MI (a good excuse to buy some wood from Johnson's! As a bonus you can use my access to Johnson's best available price on wood and plywood at http://www.theworkbench.com. This can mean a savings of up to 50%)

I'm selling because I'm upgrading to 8" for capacity. I have no complaints about how the jointer works other than capacity. It has been a great tool, but I found a great price on a used 8" jointer.

    email if interested
