    10% off coupons on eBay

There are a few sellers on eBay who are selling 10% off Lowes (BORG also) coupons on eBay for about $4.50 shipped. As we're about to place a large materials order for our deck, this could save us more than $400, and be well worth it.

But does anyone know the source of these coupons? They appear to be the "movers" discount, but how does the seller get them in bulk? If they're legitimate coupons, than it sounds like a good deal. If they're counterfit or otherwise illegal, I obviously don't want to risk it...

    Thanks!

I was always under the impression if you go to your local post office, and ask for the movers packet (or they may be in a display), they have the 10 %coupon in there. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that is where I got mine last time...

Hey Tim, I sent a request on Lowes website for a 10% coupon for moving. Okay so I moved two years ago. honestly how would they know? If they don't send me a coupon I'm out nothing, If I get it, Takes care of the sales tax and a bit more. Not like they lose money on 10%.

Yep you can get them in packets at the post office. Don't worry if your post office has the HD coupon instead of lowes as they will each honor the others coupons.

I also dunno where they get 'em. I've heard the post office has in the "moving" pack, but when I tried that once (maybe more than a year ago) it had no such coupon. So I bought one off ebay. was buying a "stock" anderson patio sliding door, trim, supplies, and special order transom. the special order stuff is exempt from 10% off, but the rest was a hefty sum. So, for me $8.00 on ebay (at that time) save me $110!

just be sure to check the expiration dates - some I saw when I was bidding were soon-to-expire.

          good luck,

I'd try the "free" route first before buying them. On my 10%
friends and family coupon, it said building materials were excluded.
Additionally, the coupon had a limit of $2000. I'm not sure if
these restrictions were limited to just the friends and family, though,
              and not the move-in coupons.

I bought two of those 10% off Lowes coupons off a guy on ebay and just used one of them at Home Depot yesterday to buy a lawn mower. Seemed to work just fine a Home Depot... no I need to try my other one at Lowes!

Most (99%) of the Lowes coupons being sold on ebay are not issued or generated by Lowes, rather individuals figured out how to generate passable 1 time and off codes in Microsoft Visio program. When purchasing on ebay often the seller will ask if you want them to send you a link to download and print them instead of them shipping. Of course they still charge shipping . . . lol.
The coupons are not legitimate but they do work. I used quite a few of them before finding out the source of the coupons. I then stopped.
