Doing a kitchen update and I want to replace/cover the existing vinyl sheet flooring. Some but not all the base cabinets are getting replaced. New countertops are going in. I'll probably rip out of the old sheet and will lay new stuff under the dishwasher area and under new cabinets, but just butt it up to the old cabinets. The goal is to add minimal height so I don't have to worry about transitions to two other rooms.
Some of the vinyl strip peel and stick flooring looks really good. I've also seen some linoleum products. Anyone used it and can recommend a good brand? This kitchen is small--probably less than 120sqft of floor--so even a high end floor isn't going to break the bank.
