yesterday saw the completion of the natural gas conversion of our 4KW portable generac generator. here are a few pics of the completed conversion:

this is the unit i used:

it works well, but i'd try some other unit if i had it to do again. the instructions were unclear and too brief. and one of the threaded rods that substituted for the OEM bolts that attached the carb. to the intake manifold and is used to connect the NG adapter to the carb, was defectively threaded. the kit was, however, complete relative to the crankcase ventilation connection to the carb and the third attaching bolt for the air filter housing. i give it an 8 out of a possible 10. but, deficiencies aside, it's going to be a relief when the next outage occurs of not having to search for fuel or a service station that can pump same.
