Fixed the mower yesterday. Thank you to all of the responses and suggestions.
I found that the coil was not producing a spark. The coil ended up not being properly spaced to the fly wheel. Not sure if the bolts had worked a little loose or what. I also took the time to clean evertyhing. Even took off the carb while I was at it and gave it a good cleaning. Cleaned all contact points to make sure the connections were clean.
I need to give thanks to a youtube video I found that was helpful in diagnosing starting problems on a B&S engine. That saved a bunch of time.
