Why am I getting poor to no signal from CAT6 run?

    I generally prefer to terminate into a keystone jack for a more positive connection. Often you can cut the ends off the in-wall cable and do that, but if you know that one of the adapters is bad (and it seems like you've shown that) then just buying a replacement may be the quicker solution...
    OK, so my network lingo isn't up to speed...

    Just came back from Lowes. Turns out the wall jack wasn't from Lowes. Both
    were from Monoprice. It was the CATV wall jack that is from Lowes. Anyway,
    swapped in the new one and now the connection is doing just fine.
