    Fireplace install

I have the opportunity to purchase an unused fireplace dirt cheap. My question is that this is a straight ventless gas fireplace, and I want to install it in a corner. Is there a problem installing a non-corner fireplace in a corner? I can waste some space to get proper clearances.

    Thanks.

if you maintain the clearances there is no problem but wasted space.

Thanks for the input. I couldn't imagine other problems, but having never worked with fireplaces before, I wasn't sure.
