Not really home maintenace - snowblower engine question

I have Troybilt snowblower with a Tecumseh engine that won't start with the choke on full. It starts fine with the choke off or in 1/2 position. I purchased the snowblower a little over two years ago, and I can't recall if the snowblower operated like this two years ago.

I google the problem and found most people have the opposite problem with their small engines, i.e., the engine only starts with full choke.

Do I have problem that needs to be addressed?

You don't want to know. The truth would probably give you nightmares.

Until it won't start at all I don't see why you should worry about it. Of course it will have snowed 18" of wet heavy white water the night before that morning that it won't start.

Sounds like it's not cold enough to need full choke yet.

The only way I would consider that a problem is if it doesn't want to start in cold weather...
