    Sprinkler Question

Can PVC and CPVC be used interchangeably in an irrigation system? IOW, is there any problems mixing white and gray fittings and piping?

for irrigation i dont see a problem with it especially if you have a automatic drain on the system so the pressure is release after the watering cycle.

I think the problem may be in the glue you use. Make sure you use a universal glue that will hold pvc, cpvc, and abs. Some people doubt the strength of this glue, but I have used it succesfully for many years. I do not buy the other.

I'm pretty sure that pvc and cpvc are slightly different sizes. I believe the cpvc is smaller so mixing the two would tricky.
