    New Guest Bath Thread

    I will post project pics here. The demo was done this morning. I need to do some very minor framing and relocate some electrical. Will try to do that tomorrow. Hopefully the plumber can do the rough-in this week so I can get started on hanging the CBU and sheetrock next weekend. I was originally only going to take the paneling down around the tub but it came off so easily and the plumber was going to cut up a bunch of it that I figured it was just as easy to pull it all.

    Updated - electrical is done, plumbing is roughed in, tub is set and drywall is done. I will run the mud/tape this week and next weekend will hang the CBU and may start the tiling. Hrrm... ok so much for photobucket rotating files properly. I guess I will have to rotate before I put them up there.

      This weekend I finished taping the drywall, capped an old plumbing vent, sweated the threaded piece on for the tub spout, insulated for sound, installed the vapor barrier, hung the CBU and started tiling. Here are some pics:
