I've repainted my bathroom, and would like to hasten the curing of the Behr latex acrylic paint so I can reattach things like shower rods and switch covers without having them stick to the paint, without having to wait a couple days for the usual curing. Is there a efficient, effective, and safe way to do this without harming the paint? E.g., hair dryer on low heat?

a small fan, or an electric space heater would do the trick. The paint dries faster with some air movement. A hair dryer on low still can overheat and possibly blister the paint. You want the entire space to cure at the same time. Good Luck with your project. No good deed goes unpunished -
That's what we had to do. LOML gets nauseous with the smell. I wouldn't use close-up heating like heat gun or hair blower as the drying wouldn't be uniform.

I wouldn't use heat either. But the fan is a good idea. Of course it's probably dry by now.
