    finding contractors

We've finally gotten an offer accepted in SD. So now that we're in the process of getting the home, when we settle, we're going to want to make it our own.
We are completely new to San Diego. Does anyone have any suggestions on where we can find out about good painters and other residential remodel contractors?

Jeckyjil, You might try asking that architect and interior designer, and the plumbers you are looking for on other forums.

      FOAD spammer.

        Painters

Why not do it yourself? Anybody can sling a paint brush. You can get some cheap paint at Walmart and put down some San Diego newspapers on the floor and have at it.

Now that it's been identified, we might want to check out the sticky thread http://www.bt3central.com/showthread.php?t=30828 .

Ask your neighbors...both for recommendations and who to avoid.
ask a reputable architect and/or interior designer
Personal recommendation is always best! Or you should try Contractors San Diego they are great.
