    Sewer Hookup Update

The plumbing contractor showed up on Tuesday around 9:30 AM. One main guy and a helper. They dug all the trenches, cut all the piping, cemented and fitted everything up and were done and outta here by 4:00PM. The next morning got our first inspection at 10:00 AM, and it passed. The guys showed back up at 11:00AM, and had backfilled and cleaned everything up by 3:00 PM. Got our final inspection next day at 9:30 AM and passed.

I've gotta say that I was extremely impressed with their service. The contractor definitely had his s**t together. Here is a backfilled pic. Oh, BTW, LOML is happy. I'm still gettin' over picking up, moving, and stacking up about 800 pavers.

800 pavers is a lotta pavers. 2 weekends ago I moved 450 - loaded onto the trailer, drug em home and unloaded. That was not fun at all. Now you get to put them all back.

I feel for you cabman - I had just finished moving 3 pallets of pavers when city inspector told me we had a leaky main! Turns out it was old galvanized pipe with a leaky saddle valve. There was another fine morning wasted on the bright side, my water tastes better!
