    Virtual Room Arranger

The Boss is wanting to rearrange the bedroom then swap her sewing room with the guest bedroom. In the past I have used cutout furniture templates and scaled room drawings to test a new layout. It works but is a pain to do. I went on line this morning and found this website.

    http://www.homeandliving.com/RoomPlanner.aspx

It appears to be based on the same program as the Grizzly shop planner. A short, simple registration allows you to save room layouts.

That is the coolest site for scaling a room. I've done it your way too. Draw the room to scale, and then make scale cutouts and then move them around. I've also done the outline of the room and then made clear plastic overlays of each possibility in order to save them. But in reality, with that program, that's what it does.

Now all I need is a program to help me arrange my dresser drawers.

Cool site. Thanks for the tip. I'm not crazy about cutting out cardboard templates either.

Thanks!!! I just sent the link to my Boss. I've lost count of the number of
times I come back into the house from the shop and I see the furniture
rearranged. It's right about the time I've become adapted to the latest
        configuration, too.

Could be worse, though, because most of these rearrangements she handles
        on her own.
