Check your local hardware stores, or online.

66,000 chickens on farm to my rear, 250 cattle on farm to my left. I *know* flys.

I picked up the sticky fly strips for the shop from Lowes. They also had a small white plastic hangning thing that had some kind of repelant in it. Hung it is garage entering home and it worked pretty good.

I've had good luck with a plastic bag device sold at HD. You just add water. It has some stinky substance inside that attracts flies. I hung two outside and they soon filled. Gross.

There was a rip in the screen door on the kitchen... The flies in the backyard took up a collection and had it fixed...

I'm inclined to believe that. As you know, living in Florida there is a higher class of fies that are basically in retirement. They come down from the North and enjoy our weather. I've seen their groupings, you know the afternoon gatherings that include pile buzzing, a favorite game where residents have dogs.

At first we tried the garlic trick. That's the one where you put powdered garlic on everything to keep the flies off. Got to be a bit much, friends wouldn't come over.

We have two German Shepherds that don't like flies. They get very good at snapping them out of the air. In fact it's a real challenge for them. So, we bought the sticky fly paper and hung it up inside for the ones that escaped the dogs. These flies watched what we did and set up flight paths to avoid the paper. When they got winded and had to land to catch their breath it wasn't on the paper. So we took all the fly paper down, and now during the day we can finally get some daylight through the windows.
