    Outdoor column plinth/post base help

The house we bought a few years ago has 7 6x6 wood columns out on the porch.

What I thought was rotted trim around the base of a couple of the columns, turns out to actually be a wooden plinth (hope that's the right word) that they're setting on.

So off I trek to the BORG to see about replacements, then to the BBRG and finally to Menards, but nobody stocks one that will fit. The originals are 1.5 inches high, and everything at the store (all aluminum ones) measures 1/2 but I've seen some 15/16 online.

Question: Anybody know where I can find a better selection of these things? Or suggestions on how to take up the difference in height? Wood, metal, I'm not picky at this point.

Here's a pic of an aluminum one- I can take pics of mine if it helps.

1.5" is the thickness of treated lumber 2xs. Those will last a while especially if you keep them painted.
