i've finished the painting (took 4 days for the feature wall ) and tiling...well kind of. i have to get some glass subway tiles for the sink backsplash.

i'll try to get some pics from last month when it was down to the joists and studs, but here's some up to date pics:

Looks like a major do-over. I feel for ya. So far it's looking real nice. Post progress pictures. The start to finish progress makes for great pictures.

Paint job looks great - much more involved than anything I have attempted.

I've done two bathrooms from scratch and replaced cabinets & fixtures & tub surrounds but so far no complete remodels.

When is the concrete board and ceramic tile going on the floor? If you haven't done it before you will be surprised how easy it is. Use latex modified thinset (the kind where the latex is dry and already in the bag is much cheaper) and I use a right angle grinder with a cheap masonary abrasive blade for the L shaped and other complicated cuts. It takes maybe $50 worth of tools the first ceramic tile job but the same tools, except for possibly the notched trowel, will also do subsequent jobs.
