    Dishwasher Door Seal

    I have just ordered a new door gasket/seal kit for my mother's Kenmore dishwasher, mod # 587.771304 Does anyone know the specific instructions for replacing the door seal? I have not yet removed the old one. Thanks

      I don't know about that particular model, but when I replaced mine I just pulled the old one out and pushed the new one into place with a flat-blade screwdriver. It was just a friction fit in a "U" channel. Took about two weeks to order the part and five minutes to install.
