The streakiness is because the clearcoat I put on is not dry yet. In the first pic, the yellow paint was a test. My wife thinks it looks real sharp against the counters. Looks like I am painting the walls this week.

Trying to fix the screwup of a few weeks ago when I mixed a slurry of cement, water and color and put that on. A few days later it cracked horribly and I had to scrape it all off and start over.

This finished counter is a slightly different look. I added a wood treatment to the front edge and poured a self-leveling commercial topping. It worked well. I told my wife that if I'd known about this stuff before I started this whole thing I would have just used it instead.

Thanks fellas. The new sink went in today. @#$%*. I hate plumbing. Although only had one leak on 6 connections and it is the handle for the angle stop and not any of my work.

Wood looks good on there. What'd you use - Maple? What did you do for the sink mounting?

Mike, it is just plain old pine stained and has a couple coats of Deft laquer on it. The sink is a drop in.
