    Computer Question

I have turned my JavaScript off some way. When looking at certain web sites I get the following message. I have downloaded flash player and still get the message. Thanks

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest flash player.

A couple of things might be happening. You may have your security turned all the way up. Scripts are 1 way hackers get into your system. If you trust the site you may want to lower it.

Are you using Firefox? Firefox automatically doesn't allow many scripts (one reason it's safer the IE). Again if you trust the site, try using IE for that site.

Hmm, you can't even see youtube. There's alot of possibilities unfortunately. From your security settings, ur anti-virus, video settings, cookies, etc.
Double check your using default level on ur security [tools-internet options-security-default level], then your anti-virus settings. If none of those work check out this microsoft faq....

If your using the newest Firefox there's a button on the bottom right of the window to allow scripting. Maybe you can DL the newest Firefox version and try that.

              I was told to

I'm guessing you just upgraded XP to SP2 or IE6 to IE7???

You need to uninstall flash and reinstall it. The plugins to use flash with your browser do not reinstall correctly for the new browser when you upgrade. There are instructions on how to remove flash on macromedia's site.

I did it and we are now working
              thanks for all the help
