    Tile cutter improvement

    Good day

When we bought the house, I had to tile the kitchen, bathroom, toilets, service room and small balcony.

I bought a tile cutter, not the cheapest but also not so expensive ($50) because I knew that its for one time use.

The tile cutter came with a....(yes this word) fence but after small improvement it was pleasure to work with it.

    Regards

For straight cuts I use what I call a "cracker" like this. I just got a cheap one from Harbor Freight. I mark the width at both ends of long cuts so I am not dependant on the fence. Maybe I should fix the fence.

For L shaped or more complicated cuts, I use a cheap abrasive blade in an angle grinder.
