    PVC beadboard and molding

Wonder if anyone has worked with this stuff. We had The pvc beadboard installed in our bathroom and want to add some 1/4 round trim molding. The question is - should I just put attach trim with some 1/2 in brads or use some liquid nail type stuff or pvc cement?

    Thanks

    Jeff

Is the trim wood or PVC?

PVC - urethane glue and nail. Fill nail holes with bondo.

Wood - nail. Fill with wood filler.

Was watching TOH and Tom Silva was using PVC molding and facia. He was gluing the joints. He was using PVC glue, and filling the nail holes with spackle.

I didn't notice that the OP was located in the New England states. Clearly TOH methods would apply there. LOL.
Seriously, more than one way to skin a cat. I used these products in a kitchen remodel and that was the advice of the manufacturer. I am sure PVC glue would work and it certainly gets tacky quick enough to be used without nails if you use a little patience. I don't know why they recommended bondo as opposed to spackle (I also do not know how closely related the two products are).

Thanks All. The 1/4 round is pretty small but it is pvc - so which glue should I user - Just regular pvc cement or something like gorilla glue? I guess I could user some small 5/8 brads if I had to fasten it

PVC glue. Will meld the two together and much quicker tack time. Glue only should be fine.
