    Can a 2" line handle a commode?

I want to add a 1/2 bath(commode and lavatory) in a store room next to the garage. All I have accessible is a 2" drain pipe that is used by the dishwasher & sink.

Just wondering if it could handle a commode, water only, no paper or solids?
I think I have seen where they have 3" commode fittings.
    Thanks

I wouldn't do it. How are you going to guarantee the no solids and paper edict? Just pee in the sink
I like Wagoneers too. Hey...they've got wood

A urinal yes, a commode no. But hey, they can't yell at you for leaving the seat up that way.

I agree, good practice and plumbing codes preclude this.
However there are a couple specialized WC's that can be set up on a 2'' line.
They have built in grinders and pumps or other mechanisms to output liquid only. They are not cheap but can be used when there is no other option.

If I remember it right, the closet needs at least a 3" drain if the distance to main stack is less than 2ft, and 4" is it's more than that. And the drain must have at least 1/8" slope (or was it 1/4"?) per 1ft of length.

You'll have to either make do with a urinal, or get a macerating toilet like SANIPLUS from Saniflo, which needs no more than a 3/4" pipe running to main stack - but those cost in $700-800 range.
