    Input on new book

I have agreed to write a new book, aimed at the new and sort of new woodworker.
I have set up a form at the link below in which you can help shape this book by answering a few questions and adding any thoughts you might have.
Only the answers are saved, no other info is collected, given out, away, sold, bartered, dematerialized or anything else!

        Tom,

Your web site was the one that I found first, and was of tremendous help to me when I got started. I built your adjustable dado jig, and it helped me build a set of shelves with a nice tight fitting joints. I gained a lot of confidence from that project (and a plunge router!). Hopefully your new book will be as big a help to lots of other newbies like me.

        Best of luck.
        Tony

Tom, I hit [Enter] too quicly on your form when I was in the Additional Comment field.

              Here's the complete version:

The novice wwer's most haunting spectre is money. Money for Tools, Money for Accessories and the like.
Plans for Jigs always help, and my favorite WW Mags are always those that include plans for the articles in them. Sooooooo....
I'm thinking that your Book should have plenty of simple project plans:[list=1][*]within the book itself, or[*]on a companion CD.
</ol id="1">I'm not a big fan of "companion websites" as they just don't seem to be around long enough...

Tom, I'm guessing that because of the nature of our little digital village here, that you could get plenty of submissions from forum members who won't expect renumeration (i.e. payment) as long as there's a "Courtesy of Rod Kirby" or some such acknowledgment...

I think we'd all like to help as much as possible...

My thanks to all those who have already responded, and those that will.
Initially, I'd hoped to get a lot of input from relatively new woodworkers on what they wanted to see but a bunch of veterans have added their thoughts on what they didn't have when they started. All good info that so far follows the outline we had in mind pretty closely but does add weight to a couple of areas.
I knew I could count on BTCentral for a bunch of reasoned opinion!
