    Tuning a gooseneck scraper

I’m expecting my card scraper set and tear-drop burnisher from Lee Valley tomorrow. Any tips for tuning a gooseneck scraper? I have all the info I need to tune a straight edge, but can’t find any info for a curved edge. My challenge, I suppose, is flattening and polishing the edge while keeping it square to the adjacent faces.

    Thanks!

Funny David Marks is talking about this in this weeks show, do you get DIY?
All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible

This online synopsis from the DIY web site won't be as good as watching the actual episode, but it's better than nothing.

(One of my gripes about DIY's online material is that the pictures are too danged small to tell much about what is going on.)

EDIT: Hey, cool ... I just noticed that there's a video feature of the scraper segment. Hope you have broadband.
