    Killing Mold on wood...

Went to LL and got a palet, alot of the wood in the middle has a white fur mold on it.. can it be saved or do I trash it?

I there a way to do this?

You can clean the wood with common household bleach. It is best to spray the wood down and then wipe the mold off as this helps prevent mold spores from bieng released into the air.

      Thanks Don,

LOML looked at wood with mold, looked at wood without mold or bugs, LOML looks at me and says "Moldy S*&% to the dump NOW!!"

      Problem solved.

No real loss, got a few pieces no where near what others got.

Before you carry it to the dump, hit a board with the clorox, let it dry and process it, then show it to her. She should calm down then. Wood, is, after all, a natural material.

Borax is better. It will kill the mold and will soak into the wood preventing it from reoccurring. Bleach will not do that.
