I got a PM from Ironhat asking for the catalog #'s for Klingspors Adhesive Abrasive roll numbers as I mentioned you can't find them on the web-site. He found that out and ask me for them. I will just post them in a thread so anyone that might be interested will have them as they are a bear to find. If you ever order from them you will get a catalog but you have to be alert to find them there. They are in the sharpening section and not with the other sand-paper.

Can you skip grits when using for scary sharp... yep! I use the 80 G.. 120 G.. 320 G.. 600 G.. 1200 G for flattening backs and primary bevels to remove machine marks. After the chisel or iron has teh machine grind marks removed I simply start a re-sharpening with 120 or 320 depending on how much abuse the tip has taken. Then the 320.. 600.. 1200.. for honing.
So.. I believe these rolls are 15' long by 6" wide so.. a roll goes a long way as I usually don't have to purchase but about every two years once chisels and irons have the original machine marks removed. It takes very little at the point.
If anyone can use those numbers.. great! If not.. just dis-regard..
