    bosch router table fence

I have the bosch router table (the enclosed mdf one) and while its very nice I'm having issues with the fence.

The fence mounts to the table with 2 bolts that go into 2 slots on the table which seems typical. The problem I have is moving the fence from front to back as it has 2 bolts to hold it it always wants to pivot. At the moment I move it and then set a large speed square up against the right hand side to check for 90 and then do the same for the left. Sometimes it works and other times it still seems off.

I'm trying to put a 15deg chamfer on both sides of a 1/2 wide piece and even though I have it set up on centre I end up with the chamfer cutting past my mark.

Does anyone here have a suggestion to be able to move the fence consistently at 90 deg to the edge?

The fence doesn't have to be square with an edge of the table (unless you're using a miter slot/fence as well).

When you push a workpiece along the fence, it's position, relative to the router bit; doesn't change.

Use a test piece to see how much wood you are removing.
