    HVLP sprayer? (small shop)

I have a pretty small 1 car garage shop at 11x21. I have DC & ceiling mounted JDS air filtration for dust particles. I've never sprayed my projects before and thinking about going HVLP. What about ventilation though? Do I need to isolate a "spray booth" area? If so, whats the best way I can do a collapsible setup? Do I keep the garage door closed or open & just wear respirator? Just getting started on this and not sure of the proper setup given my shop size. Thanks!

    brief answer :
    (1) respirator
    (2) don't forget the respirator
    (3) once you are done spraying, get out and watch some tv or shoot some hoops. if you can keep the garage door open, better; else, watch some more tv, or even call it a night (from the shop).
    (4) separate booth / collapsible setup etc : needed more for overspray control and isolating your project from shop dust. you might even rather spread some paper and keep your shop clean.
