    HELP - What is it?

This picture appeared a few weeks ago and I did not follow-up as I should have.

I believe it is used as a long 'featherboard'. The other picture showed it being used with a router.

This looks exactly like something I think I could make good use of and I would like some info as to dimensions and materials. No problem with the miter slider and fittings; my question has to to with best materials.

I have a piece of half-inch santotec plastic that would do nicely and I could get baltic birch ply if needed. I could 'guestimate' the dimensions, but suggestions would help me avoid straining the old grey matter.

I would just want to make sure the material was appropriately flexible for use as a long featherboard.

    Thanks in advance. Regards, Steve

Thanks Ken and 'siliconbauhaus'. It looks like Sarge will have the answers. Hopefully he will see this thread in the next day or so and I won't have to bother him with a PM.

I would like to use some left over sanitec plastic and route out the spacers to give it some spring.

        Regards, SN

I had printed the pic for future reference, but forgot who posted it. Took 3 searches (featherboard, fingerboard, springboard) before I hit the jackpot. Given enough tries......

Good thing it wasn't called something really strange, I may still be searching
