    Table Saw Tips

Powermatic is sponsoring a series of videos about table saw use on the Wood Magazine web site.

    http://www.woodmagazine.com/wood/fil...ic/pwrmtc_tips

They're narrated and demonstrated by Gary Rogowski of the Northwest Woodworking Studio using a Jet cabinet saw, but a lot of the info is still relevant.

There are also plans for jigs. Worth visiting IMHO.

Thanks Jack this looks interesting as I can always brush up on my skills especially on the TS so will read it when I get off work that is. Wouldn't want to waste time on the job you know.
May you die and go to heaven before the Devil knows you're dead. My Best, Mac

Sometimes you just have to see/hear/read things in a slightly different way for the little light bulb to come on. I've been having a lot of trouble cutting straight and I now think it's because a) I stand on the right side of the saw facing the blade, and b) I use my push shoe to keep the wood very tight against the fence even as the shoe passes the blade. Rogowski's method seems like it will produce better results than mine, which I will have a chance to try soon enough here.
