    Off the wall question

I realize this has nothing to do with woodworking or even wood for that matter.

I was hoping to just get your guys common sense take on this one though.

I have clear tubing... 7/16 diameter. It's the clear flexible kind.

It comes coiled up, I need the stuff straight to work with it... any ideas on how I could straighten it up?

I have tried stringing it up over night tightly but it still has a curve to it.

    Thanks for any help.

Get it warm then lay it in a straight line. Might want to try putting it in an oven, very low setting!!!

Don't know where your located, but if you still have warm days, leave it in the sun to make it more pliable. I use it on my aquariums. Don't know how long you need it straight for but you could put it in the dryer for 5 minutes to make it workable.

Or (don't know how long a piece we're talking) stick a slightly undersized dowel in it for a few days.

      Good luck

EDIT: Again with TheRic beating me to the punch. This guy is quick on the keys
