What to do with Bay Laurel?

I have some relatively small pieces of Bay Laurel from trees we had cut down over the summer. There's a piece from just above the stump that's about 9x9x12 inches, and some four foot lengths that are 4-6 inches in diameter.

I've started squaring off the stump piece but it's not going to yield much useful flat lumber, even for small boxes. I thought about making one or two bandsawn boxes out of it.

Same for the longer pieces, They will be difficult to slice in any event, even with the fairly long resaw sled I've built. I might get a few two or four foot by 3-4 inch pieces but that's about it.

Has anyone worked with Bay Laurel before, and if so, what kinds of things is it typically used for? I could not find much on the web.
