Chisel Handle

After getting my Lee Valley honing guide and a water stone I was able to eventually tune up my cheap plane blades.
Now I've turned to my Dad's old abused chisel.
I've got the blade nearly nick free but where can I get a new handle?
Couldn't find any at Rona or the BORG.
Is there a plan or guide for making one? (without a lathe)

Here's a suggestion that will add to your WW skills. Cut a square block of wood of your choice to a square dimension of the widest diameter (of the flat sides), and the length of the handle you want. Drill out the hole size to fit the top of the chisel tang. You can epoxy the tang in the hole when ready. Shape it to round using a block plane. If you want a varied indention to fit your hand, with a chisel or pocket knife shave/carve the form you want. Then sand, and apply finnish.
